Concordia Group started as Concordia Shipyards BV. This company was founded in 2001 by Cor Hoogendoorn, Cees Hoogendoorn Sr. and Chris Kornet and formed the foundation for the current Concordia Group. This successful cooperation resulted in success for the whole Group.
After contributing his years of experience to the Group mr. Hoogendoorn Sr. was able to leave the company to the other two partners with much potential for growth. They expanded the company further, for instance by hiring young motivated people like Karst van der Wiel in 2007 and Bert Duijzer in 2008.
Since then branches have been set up in China and Brazil. Each in their own form and strength contributing to the success and growth of the Concordia Group.
